Solutions and Other Problems by Allie Brosh

3.0

This book was much longer than it needed to be. I genuinely enjoyed her first book and liked how she mixed humor, dealing with hardships and stories. However, this book just felt soo random. Every story just felt like an attempt at being even more quirky then the last book and went no where. I know this book isn't intended to be taken seriously and it's meant to just consume the randomness and not a plot. This book just felt like a YA book meant for only middle schoolers to consume with a sprinkle of curse words thrown in. I just felt like I hadn't read anything at all and no one should feel like that after consuming over 500 pages. I also didn't find this book nearly as funny as the last one and maybe I shouldn't have held the last book as an expectation for this one. I really didnt chuckle past chapter 6 and rather just skimmed. If you've read the first book then you're probably fine to stop there.
