This book was ok. I liked it but I wasn't in love with it; it was typical rich man, poor girl, fear conquers initial romance and then love conquers all.
Gwen is a physical therapist who just recently found out she was pregnant and then found out the father of her baby died. That should be enough shock right, finding out you're going to be a single mom - wrong...your baby's father, while an american hero, was also a billionaire. His older brother Carter thinks you're a gold digger, bad past experiences and his mom thinks you're carrying a piece of her baby so you're an angel. Unfortunate things keep happening to Gwen, apartment fire so now she's homeless but is offered a room in the mansion where her baby's grandparent's live. Carter tries to manipulate her into doing some things (doesn't work), then he falls for her and she falls for him then he says something stupid, she leaves, he gives a big gesture and it's happy ever after. Uncle is now also the baby's father and everyone wins.
