This is such a cute forced proximity summer romance that takes place at an inn in Maine. It has my fave grump/sunshine dynamic and so much great commentary on disability!
Bryce is a former NFL player who sustained a spinal cord injury and basically dropped out of his old life (I got some major Nathan Scott vibes). Charly recently lost her mother to cancer, and is fulfilling the bucket list they created before she died. Bryce is so thoughtful in helping her complete it!
Both Bryce & Charly lost people when their lives got hard/changed, and I could really relate to that. I lost friends when I became chronically ill, and while it sucks, it does show you who your people truly are.
