Foolish Games

♫ And these foolish games are tearing me apart.... ♫
I keep having that Jewel song run through my head whenever I think about this book.
If you have read the previous Cartwright brothers books, you have already met our duo - Kristian Cartwright and Veronica.
I feel that each and every book in this series just gets better. I adored Kristian in the previous books, however I couldn't help but freaking love him in Foolish Games.
His and Ronnie's relationship isn't an easy one, but you know those Cartwright boys, they don't let their women go once they find them (even if they want to lol).
There is a great dynamic between Kristian and Ronnie, and as much as I never thought I would say this, I actually kinda sorta liked Jasmine (the matriarch of the Cartwright family) in this book. I know, hell must have frozen over because it is true!!
I laughed, I cried, I screamed at the characters. I wanted to reach into my ereader to slap some of them too.
It was great to catch up with the other Cartwright brothers (note: I am still not a fan of Nate and Holland after book 2!)
I am now impatiently waiting for the next couple. Please don't keep me waiting too long Ms Anderson!
