neurotic & optimistic... all the family relationship twists and turns were hard to follow but i ended up giving up on understanding it all and just liking how confusing and weirdly intertangled the family was. reminded me a bit of the voice of the idiot, naive & precious, but also deeply invested in detangling emotional realities. also auckland yesssss
