In Broad Daylight by Seth Harwood

3.0

Jess Harding is an FBI agent who's been called back to Alaska to continue work on a serial killer case that went cold five years previous.

This books was an incredibly quick read and quite fast-paced. The story was interesting and kept me pretty well engrossed. I had a very hard time connecting with Jess, however. I connected more with Linstrom and Martinez than I did with her even though the story is from Jess's point of view.

Mr. Hardwood did a good job of dropping breadcrumbs about Jess's past to give us peeks about how she ticks and why she is the way she is. I felt like more background development of her character would have helped me to connect with her better.
