Another great book in Krueger’s Cork O’Connor series with his dedicated interest in the Ojibwe Indigenous people alongside a sheriff/detective who solves mysteries and murders in a highly entertaining, suspenseful fashion.
Might I also suggest some of Krueger’s other exceptional books such as Ordinary Grace and This Tender Land - very different but wholly soul-satisfying. I will always look forward to anticipating his next work because he never fails to disappoint.
