At first I was a litttle on edge with this book as there is a lot of swearing and words used that I do not like but it wasn't used that often throughout the book. LGBTQIA representation throughout the book. It is from multiple POVs at times it did sort of slit between them in the chapter but it was still understandable. Short chapters and fast paced. Full of magic but all different types and demons are involved. Twists that you did not see coming and the ending. The ending made me realise why I don't read a series unless I have all the books because I wish I could read the next one. Ends on a huge cliffhanger. Really enjoyable and gripping book. A little spice but not much. Will be a reread when the next two come out.
