I love the whimsy in this book series and the richness of the art. This particular book, with its loss and joy and hope and sadness, moved me to near-tears. We learn of MiM, or the Man in the Moon, who spends his innumerable years trying to protect dreams and hearts from the dangers of Pitch, the King of Nightmares. I can't wait to move on to the rest of the books in the series and will most certainly add this series to my son's collection.
