The writing style of this author was very confusing. It just made getting into the story really difficult, it was often jarring at times the way she would try to write as if it was ancient, but it’s all very modern and then bouncing back-and-forth between past, present,  and podcast/newspapers. Then to top it all off, the plot itself felt like it was like a second in the series, I felt like I was missing a whole bunch of pieces to the plot.
