I loved this adventure that drew elements of the world of faeries, sea/wayfaring, unique magical beings with their own backstories that come together into a found family, magical schools and young friendships built through overcoming adversity. Parts of it felt a little rushed and I would have enjoyed if it had been a bit longer, and would definitely enjoy it if sequels within this world were to be released.
