The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie
5.0
After seeing "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd" being deemed as one of Christie's best books, I was hellbent on reading it. And it's safe to say that reading this book was one of the BEST decisions (maybe the only good decision) I've ever made.
I never thought Agatha Christie could possibly stun me more with her perfectly weaved mysteries with intricate plots, but boy was I wrong.
While reading the first three quarters of the book, I kept thinking "Okay, this is gonna be one of those laid back mysteries." Well, I know how that turned out...
The ending blew me away and this has to be one of her best mysteries yet. Every event is like a piece of a puzzle with seemingly no pattern but then finallllly it all fits together and CLICK!
You will NOT be disappointed although the book might seem like a simple murder mystery, it sure isn't. An easy 5/5 stars rating.
