Definitely better than the previous book👍🏻. The plot was superb, the characters were well written as well.
I really like Michelle is a character, such a badass FBI officer. It is unlikely to meet her again in the series, but *cross fingers* hopefully, she would appear in the series again.
Hunter was superb, like always. The dilemma he faced towards the end... wow... I honestly would've froze. Gracia, as always a very reliable partner even when he was tested to the limit.
The plot itself was so good, it centered around choice and fate. How one's choice would affect others. How one can make the right choices yet somehow it doesn't matter because sometimes life just sucks. Honestly, it got me thinking about it. And Gracia, I have this feeling that he wouldn't return to RHD <\spoiler>
