I bought this book without any prior knowledge about what is it going to be. I took it as a self help book and in a way it is. But it's much more than that.
The book gives you all the motivation you need to write your first shitty draft as a writer. With a humorous take on life, Anne Lamott helps you understand life from a broader perspective. She shows you the chaotic, messy world as it is and the hardships of being a writer but guides you home with her lively prose.
