I couldn't imagine the feeling of losing someone so close to you in what was a very romantic and deeply loving relationship. On top of that, being adrift at sea while mourning is one of the worst outcomes that you can imagine as mourning takes a backseat to survival. This was an amazing true story that, had it been fiction, could not have turned out so incredibly lucky. Otherwise, the book would have gotten more dire and likely more turbulent. I am glad things came together for Tami and that was a happy ending.
