Iโ€™ve read Sally Thorne before and really enjoyed her work, so I was excited to pick this one up. This one is set at a quirky retirement villa where Ruthie has her quite life perfectly under control. Then tatted up Teddy, the bosses son, comes in to work off his debts. What starts as reluctant coworkers slowly turns into friendship and then a slow-burn romance โœจ

Ruthieโ€™s grandma lifestyle was everything, and honestly, I was living through her. Teddy started out unlikable (charming but frustrating), but once their friendship began to bloom, I was all in!

The slow-burn romance was my favorite kind, achingly sweet and worth the wait ๐Ÿขโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ

I also loved the quirky retirement home setting and its cast of eccentric characters. It made the whole book feel so unique and cozy. Overall, this was a swoony, fun, and heartwarming read.

๐Ÿ“šRecommendation: If you love slow-burn romances with quirky charm and a unique setting, this one will be so worth it!
