How deeply ENGLISH wow. A fun read, and nice to return to Diana Wynne Jones! Interesting to see how my values and worldview have developed from when I first read this sort of work in primary and high school, to now be uncomfortable with the overt racism and sexism (major yikes at the "Heathens")
