I'm a big fan of bad ass girls/women and this book had an excellent female protagonist named Thorn. How cool is that name to begin with? I'd say that this installment of the series was even better than the first. I loved the return of some of the characters from the first book, Father Yarvi and Rulf. I am truly loving this series and I can't wait until the last book. (Not just for Young Adults)
