In the Key of Us by Mariama J. Lockington

5.0

Read this in 24 hours because I couldn’t put it down. Lockington’s immersive, gorgeous prose swept me back to eighth grade heartbreaks and endless days of summer camp. Both POV characters stole my heart and had me cheering them. I also loved the poetic interludes from the perspective of a place itself. A quiet, tender novel that’s un-put-downable.
