I wanted to love them...
So wanted to live this series. But after reading the first book, I struggled to finish it. The potential is there but I feel like the characters aren’t matured. Not only in their reactions, but in the way they are written. It’s all a bit disjointed.
I think after I take a break, I may come back to read book 2 to see if the author has developed the storyline and the characters a bit more. I am not ready to give up on them.
