This book is very aptly named because the whole thing was literally so wrong. No really, that could be my entire review lol.

But y’all know me better than that, of course I’m gunna dish. So on that note, spoiler warning lol. But for anyone who doesn’t want spoilers but also wants to know if I recommend this book I’ll say this; if you lean more to the left side of the political spectrum and you’re good with a heavy sprinkle of woke agenda, you’ll probably this love book. If you lean more to the right, you’re gunna hate it lol. There were so many jokes I could have made here, so I really hope y’all appreciate my restraint and trying to keep it somewhat unbiased lol. Spoiler warning starts now lol.

Now the first sign that this book was gunna be terrible was that one of the MMC’s is named Greedy. I’m sorry but who thought that was a good idea cuz that’s stupid AF. I mean it is his nickname but I didn’t see any explanation as to why that’s his nickname which makes it even more stupid.

Then we need to talk about the fucking insta love. Blegh, gross. Again, this damn trope needs a trigger warning cuz yuck. Basically 18 year olds fall madly in love, they already know how to bang like they’ve been doing it their entire lives and give each other multiple O’s (lmfao, unrealistic much) AND THEN the dude stays celibate for another 3 years because he can only love that one chick. You’re seriously gunna try and tell me that an 18 year old football star didn’t get his dick wet in college? I call bullshit lol. Literally the most unrealistic plot I think I’ve ever read in a contemporary romance lol.

Also, this is supposed to be why choose. It’s not. It’s like this weird ass love triangle that doesn’t even become a triangle until the book is almost done. It was super fuckin strange the way that played out. But that actually brings us to Levi our other MMC. He was basically the one who carried this book for me until he didn’t anymore. Why did he stop carrying it for me? Oh thanks for asking, I’ll tell you… I’ll even screenshot it for you on the next slide of this post lol. So if you haven’t read that slide, go do it now on my Instagram and then come back here……..

FUCKING WHAT?!? You want her to WHAT?! I can’t. I fucking can’t. This isn’t a thing. This is not a fucking thing. I could’ve forgiven the cream reference, but his DICK SLIT?! You don’t open up a dudes dick hole and stick your fucking cream inside!! Who the hell alpha read, beta read, arc read, edited AND proofread this and didn’t think to maybe mention that this is disgusting?! Fucking absurd.

Then we have our FMC. I didn’t actually mind her at first but then as the story progressed I quickly realized that she’s the cause of literally all the problems. So it turns out that she had unknowingly been pregnant and then loses the baby, which causes her to have a pretty serious meltdown, understandably! But here’s my problem… she’s so broken about this that she’s not really capable of having a conversation with the love of her life and the father of the baby, but she’s capable of disappearing and leaving the country and not speaking to anyone for 3 years? What? Literally the entire reason for all of the bullshit in this book is because she was too immature to have one conversation, which the father very much deserved the chance to have. It was gross.

The writing is mediocre at best and the author has a tendency to repeat herself and certain phrases numerous times. At one point she had mentioned “a single tear forming” like 4 or 5 times within a couple chapters and it lacked any real creative prose. Oh and can we not use words like clitoris and clitoral hood when writing spice please? I mean yea, we all know the proper anatomical names for things, but that doesn’t mean I want to read them in my romance books. “I brush the fabric aside, revealing a small patch of hair and my clitoral hood.” *GAGS* hard pass.

I’m a nutshell, this was a giant waste of time and I won’t be continuing with the series lol.
