A Wicked Kind of Husband by Mia Vincy

3.75

Mia Vincy’s A Wicked Kind of Husband is a delightful historical romance filled with sharp banter, well-developed characters, and a perfect balance of steam and plot. The witty dialogue adds humor and charm, while the chemistry between the leads feels natural and engaging. The romance builds at a satisfying pace, with just the right amount of spice to enhance the story without overpowering it.

While miscommunication tropes aren’t my favorite, this one was bearable—largely because it was handled well and didn’t feel excessively frustrating. That said, there were moments where it seemed unnecessarily drawn out, but it didn’t overshadow my enjoyment of the book.

Overall, A Wicked Kind of Husband is a compelling and well-crafted historical romance that combines humor, passion, and strong character development. If you enjoy sharp banter and an engaging love story, this is definitely worth picking up!
