Am I.... a monsterf*cker? Reason I'm asking is because me and Ness, we're practically the same person at this point. Babes was deep in the feels and ME TOO! Echo is Bae and I too would've risked it all to be in his arms. Hello?
This book hurts in all the best ways. Ness's pain, their weariness and hurt and mistrust is so real. I felt every feeling they felt, understood every weary decision they made even though they sometimes stressed me. I love how the emotions were explained and explored.
Vee Debras is an incredible writer, the way in which they described Echo? That's what got me. I was a like two chapters in and immediately thought "Raw, next question" because hello? But not just the way they desxeibw Echo, but also they way in which they handle the Ness's grief and emotions especially how they handled it surrounded by Ness's feelings about their parents.
Everything was so raw and honest and I adored every moment and cannot wait to delve into more of Vee's writing.
