From the description of this book, and already knowing the characters of Gwynn and Neil, I knew this story would have some action. I wasn’t wrong. So much suspense and intrigue! The author did a wonderful job of keeping me guessing until she was ready for the truth to be known. There were quite a few scenarios that my mind jumped between while reading this book.

There was definite chemistry between Gwynn and Neil in the last book, Married by Monday. I was happy to discover the chemistry continued into this book. There is, for me, wasn’t a burning fire. But it was such a pleasant warm-fuzzy feeling that made me so happy when they finally gave into their feelings.

Along with the whole suspense of the Raven and Neil’s past, there’s a side story with Karen and a famous movie star. I loved meeting Michael and how he clicked with the group instantly. Of course, I know he’s not “the one” for Karen so it will be interesting to see how their story plays out. Not just because I want Karen to get her HEA, but I’d like to see what happens with Michael.

The way this group of friends always rallies around each other is great. Catherine Bybee always does such an amazing job of writing friendships. (See her Most Likely To series, friendship gold!) This group has truly been through some ups and downs and total craziness together. They always seem to come out stronger though.
