Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros

The leads in this book are going to drive you crazy. They are so overly dramatic. It gets to the point where you are pulling your hair out, saying if they don't just take it to the bedroom you're going to burn the book because they are both single adults and need to get over it. When they do, you're going to change your mind because... seriously?
I want to know the actual story going on around them. The story her father was warning them about. The ending makes it so I'll likely read the second book. I also like Tairn and Sgaeyl. The dragons are great. The majority of the humans suck. Even the ones we are supposed to like.
If you're an audiobook person, you might want to go with the text on this. I don't know if the narrator was sick when recording but it is FILLED with nonstop sniffling and phlegm noises through the whole book until the end when it just switches to a male voice for the mmc which is...not great. I have enjoyed the first narrator on other books, though I remember in another series she was great and then the very last book the sound/editing quality was bad. So, I don't know if these things are on the narrator or editing for leaving them in.
