Big fan of heists and this book plays into all the parts of heists that I enjoy, then adds a wonderfully unique system of magic melded with modern day.
Very realistic colonial struggles alluded to in the book making it feel even more grounded. The characters are all unique, loveable, and bring their own particular perspective. Perhaps it's because I am older now that some of the tropes seem a bit tired to me, but Chokshi does a masterful work with her unique setting and story. Definitely give a read!
