This is not my favorite in the series. I know a lot of people have said that once the series gets to America, nothing happens. I think a lot happens but so much of it is Roger focused (I think probably to show how unsuited he is to live in the 18th century) but I just don’t enjoy reading about Roger. It’s just my personal preference. I don’t love him. I think he’s annoying. I get why he’s there and how he serves the story but he, in general, is kind of useless imo
