Not Quite Dead Yet
by Holly Jackson
This book grabbed my attention from the very beginning and held it all the way though. The premise was absolutely fascinating and unlike anything I have read before. I was emotionally invested in Jet, the protagonist, and her attempt to find her murderer before it is too late.
Holly Jackson writes such interesting characters. I found myself emotionally invested in Jet, and her relationships with various other characters. These relationships were nuanced and complex.
Jet is from a wealthy family and feels like, at twenty seven, she is waiting for her life to begin. That is until an attack leaves her with a brain aneurism and a week to live. She is determined to spend that time being the first person ever to solve their own murder.
