Four Blind Mice
by James Patterson
Warning: There are some spoilers within this review but I'm just way too lazy to just type out the whole formula thing to hide certain stuff. Read at your own risk and I'm sorry!
While reading Four Blind Mice has Cross dealing against a trio of killers. Oh, and since the Mastermind is in jail Alex is thinking about retiring from the Washington Police Force. Now of course one would realize that Alex isn't going to actually retire retire. Yeah, he might quit the force but I have a feeling that he's going to accept another job offer. I mean, there are a ton of books within this series and if I was reading these books when they were first coming out .. uh.. yeah I probably still wouldn't think that Alex would actually never work ever again.
Now this book does have some good twists and turns. Like how it started off with him not working but then his friend Sampson asks him to help him out with a case. Unfortunately, things don't go their way throughout the entire trip. Then there's trouble at home with Nana and I was going to be so sad if something tragic happened to her but in the end everything was fine.
It also has a really good happy ending for someone but then there's a hint of a love triangle that might happen in the next book. Maybe? Well, I'm not on board with that happening at all because it's getting really annoying with Alex and his "relationships" - I just want to read about his job and him finding the murderers. But if he ever has a love interest that I will ever fall in love with then maybe I can get on board.. but that hasn't happened yet.
I can't wait to read the next book!
