Indigo Eyes by Maeve Hazel

5.0

I am in Spain without the S.

First, the characters. They're diverse and with their own background stories. Their unique and outstanding. They're livable and understandable.

Second, the plot. Ups and downs. The hardships of life and the unexpected turns. Things we never want to experience but we have to deal with anyway. Love and hate. Tears of joy and pain. And I mean A LOT of tears.

Spicier than I anticipated. Loved it more than I expected. Shorter than I would've liked a story like this to be but ended up coming to terms with why it had to be of this length.

I started this as a 'quick easy read' but it quickly turned to 'my eyes are puffy at 2am and I can't go back to sleep and im feeling a lot of emotions i cant act on right now'.

To sum this up, this is an important book. This should be read and understood because it's rare finding something this cherishable.
