Christian fiction is not my usual go-to genre to read but overall, I did enjoy this book. It's not a gripping novel full of mystery or twisted plots. It doesn't even have much drama in it, but it's a nice palette cleanser. I absolutely loved the chapters set in Italy. The book was pretty lengthy and at times a bit dry, and at other times it was choppy and jumped ahead in the timeline. I would have loved it more if it just focused on Italy and left the romance out completely.
