Ace of Spades by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé

4.0

This book could have been a 2 or 3-star review until the last quarter and then everything changed for me. It became so much more. At first, it just felt like Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars but racially charged, and then racist, and I just wasn't having it. But that last third to quarter of the book made it impossible to stop reading, I just HAD to know what was going to happen. The fact that every single student and adult at the school was involved was something that I could not seem to wrap my mind around.
