This read is somewhere between a 3-4 star read for me. I really enjoyed this read & I believe I would have finished it sooner had life not gotten in the way. I actually really enjoyed the Fake Dating/Fake Marriage trope. I felt that the beginning & ending of the book was fast paced, but the middle seemed to drag. But it was necessary to for the plot development.

Prior to this book I had read “Love & Other Words”, also by Christina Lauren. I felt more connected with that book & its characters had a more lasting impact in my opinion. I’d say the story is mostly character driven, and while I could find Anna somewhat relatable, It was hard to empathize with the other characters. I teared up at the end bc West Weston is such a good human & proof that not all rich people are evil. 🫶🏼

Overall it was a good book, a little romance/spice,
But done very respectfully. One thing I enjoyed most about this book was that it felt like a rom-com movie playing in my head.
