Wyrd Sisters by Terry Pratchett

5.0

This is the book where the Discworld series becomes great. "Wyrd Sisters" takes the themes of the vastly inferior "Sourcery" (magic and authoritarianism), adds Shakespeare and neopaganism, and tells it through probably the best characters Pratchett created. I loved this book as a teenager, and although I didn't laugh out loud as much this read around, it was still a lot of fun to revisit.
