Hating You by J.L. Beck, C. Hallman
4.0

Parker is volatile. His need to possess, and claim, to hurt and mark is very rough. My problem with him is this, there’s a disconnect in the switch from hating to loving. One minute he’s abusing, blackmailing, and the next he’s in love and doesn’t want her to leave. It’s hard to reconcile the differences.
Willow is fighting things out to make a better life for her sister, who’s in a facility. I understand the backstory, but at the same time, i have a hard time believing that an “innocent “ girl would be able to barter with her body the way Willow does. There was no other currency? It just didn’t hit home.
The plot line was intriguing and I stayed until the end to find the culprit, but the misses detracted overall.
