even better than the first one!!! the ending was super satisfying (god who am i??? what is this?? "satisfying ending" like WHAT??) and i'm deeply invested in all of these characters especially isaac and violet. my issues are all purely aesthetic (the library copy i got has an ugly cover and also a reinforced binding that made it very stiff) but please!! read this book!! i'm begging you!!

also, violet "kiss me about it" saunders and harper "it's you or me, babe, and i'm obviously picking me" carlisle are absolute icons
