Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
2.0
If I could give this 2 1/2 stars I would. Ink Exchange is better than Wicked Lovely, although I had a difficult time following the story and had to read spoilers to understand what was unfolding.
Leslie is a vulnerable young woman who's strength lies dormant as she tries to survive a horrible experience and continue with life. She chooses a tattoo to reclaim the strength she believes she lost and unwittingly becomes a vital mortal liason to the king of the Dark Court--fairy court that is.
Marr's fairy court is unique--not the happy, little fairies flitting about Disney movies--but sexy and grotesque. Overall the story is intriguing, but the genre, urban fantasy, is not my cup of tea.
