Read this book for book club...it was just ok for me. Historical fiction isn't really my genre of choice, and this solidified that more. I don't really know that I would've classified it as historical. There were a few things like dates and wars and the library in common with the times, but the whole story was more fictional than not. It started off slowly and then picked up towards the middle and end. But, there were no big surprises and the story just went on.
