suzemo 's review for:
Katherine of Aragon: The True Queen
by Alison Weir
I liked this historical fiction centering Katherine of Aragon by Weir. There's nothing new about this historical figure, but I do like historical fiction told from the viewpoints of the women, the principle characters we rarely hear from. Of course, there are ups and downs to Katherine's life, and Weir does a very good job of portraying them as rich and sumptuous, happy, or just downright stark and depressing.
I listened to the audiobook and I was hoping to listen to the other books in the series, but the narrator seems to think that a man's voice is always shouting, which is rather off-putting.
