This book is a series of miscommunication tropes strung together. It’s also a story of a woman learning to reframe her life rather than see herself the way toxic people from her past have described her. And that’s beautiful.
Sybil struggles with self image, significant medical issues, and crippling insecurity. I love her growth. However, the plot points were predictable and the miscommunication was cringey.
I LOVE the core four friend group, and would have loved more of it.
