I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this one and really loved the characters, the writing flows so smoothly and you just fly through it. There are so many depths to them and getting to explore them and watching them slowly unravel, was really intense but also so beautiful. Watching Arlo grow throughout this book from where he was when we first met him was so wholesome, the confidence that it brings him, and he was already a confident man, really shows through in the small acts. Hailey is a very empowering woman and watching her open up and come to terms with her past, to a degree, was really beautiful because it felt like she could finally start to take the next steps in life. Watching them both start to expand their boundaries with each other and test new waters, was done so gracefully and by not being rushed, it allowed you to connect with the characters along their journey. We have been set up really nicely for the next book and I can’t wait to explore this next step in all the characters' story and watch all these other levels unlock.
