The Last Word by Taylor Adams

Isolating yourself from the world, escaping into any book you can put your hands on (relatable), can only be sustainable for so long. In your solitude, imagine having the unfortunate circumstance of coming across an absolute incel with psychotic tendencies with no way to escape...

Read this book in one sitting. It was incredibly fast-paced and gripping, with scattered plot twists that only increased my enjoyment of this book. I will say that the jumpiness in the writing between the different perspectives was confusing at times, as there was no indication of change, but I eventually picked up on it and I can see how this was a very intentional choice. I absolutely loved seeing two sides of the same story from incredibly drastic perspectives. It added to the tension as well as showing how something can be manipulated so easily. It makes you question what the reality in this situation is also, especially with the jumping perspectives.

It's a mega mind fuck and I am all here for it- would recommend it if you're in the market for a fast pace thriller to quite literally blaze through.
