Attack on Titan, Vol. 12 by Hajime Isayama

4.0

I love Attack on Titan, but one scene that really irked me is Hannes' death. Eren already watched the smiling Titan kill his mom the first volume and now that Hannes decided to fight, he gets killed right off the bat while Eren sits and watches. I know a lot of people don't like Eren because of his indecisiveness and whining, but that never really bothered me until this volume. Eren knew Hannes didn't stand a chance, but he just sat there feeling sorry for himself. Other than that this was a pretty good volume that left me wanting more. I know the author is trying to draw out his story and keep us interested, but we still know nothing! Where's Eren's dad? How did the Titans get created? Why are there Titans in the walls and why is Krista/Historia so important to the wallist groups? This volume seemed to open up more and more questions.
