The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs

2.0

Meh.

That was my overall impression of The Friday Night Knitting Club.

It was not an enthralling work of fiction in any sense, nor did i have the charming and humourous elements that are typical of chick lit novels. Even as I reached page 300, I was still waiting for the plot to reveal itself. No such luck on that one.

The ending was a real shock to me and I cannot even guess how Kate Jacobs managed to write a sequel. I guess it doesn't matter though, because I have no intentions of reading it.

I give this book 2 stars because it was not that horrible to be worth only one, but it wasn't even mediocre enough to warrant 3.
