This was probably my most difficult read ever, but also one of my most important. This story is so heavy it feels suffocating. The writing is phenomenal. Every single page of this literally turned my stomach. So dark, so realistic, such an accurate depiction of trauma and the lifelong effects it has on survivors. I needed a lot of therapy sessions after finishing this.
