Witches, Sluts, Feminists: Conjuring the Sex Positive by Kristen J. Sollee

hopeful medium-paced

3.75

Parts of this book were a bit slow despite the short chapters and the language was very academic. That being said, the author prefaces the book by stating it is a primer and I feel quite primed. My interest is piqued. I learned tidbits that have me curious about exploring more witchy texts. If anything I wish a little more space had been given to the actual history of the witch trials as it felt a bit brief. Also the illustrations were great. Above all, it is pro-woman and strives to be a broad educational text about a extremely complex subject. I think it hits the mark.
