longer than most books i typically read, actually ran out of time on the loan and had to wait a few months to get it again and finish.
well-written but such a sad story. you grow to know the characters so well and it was a hard read at times because of the extremely traumatic experiences of the main character. one of those books that makes you so sad, it’s hard to recommend to someone else.
