Such a joyful and moving book.
I especially enjoyed the shyness of both main characters. There are quite a few moments where a “brave/assertive/charismatic” character would’ve just knocked on the door or said what they felt, it felt genuine to read characters that couldn’t do that.
I loved the friendships and the representation of a lot of different family dynamics. A very emotional read, but also a lot of fun!
