The Underground Abductor: An Abolitionist Tale by Nathan Hale

5.0

I got this for my 8 year old and he wanted me to read it too so we could talk about it. I learned a lot and thought the author did a great job on a difficult topic. There was lots of good info and the reader understood the hardships, but there was also some humor to keep it from getting too dark. The tale was inspiring and I hold great respect for those involved in the underground railroad. A great read for kids.
