This book took a pretty significant turn about 1/3 of the way through that I didn’t want and was unprepared for. Features a very heavy and prominent substance use/abuse/addiction storyline and some scenes of physical abuse when I just expected a light hearted airport romcom. The book is well written and I appreciate that this is the story the author wanted to tell but the absolute lack of warning on the back cover was not cool. 
The romance between soraya and magnums was cute and is why I finished the book despite skipping multiple chapters because it was too heavy.
